Big Data Analytics For Sustainability

Find Out More

I believe in the systematic use of big data analytics to achieve sustainability goals. I want to help organizations optimize the usage of their resources as well as understand and act on the environmental and social impacts that their operations are having on the natural world. With a background in environmental management, I spent the last fourteen years working on a wide array of projects, from solid waste management at the local level and environmental compliance consulting, to academic research in modeling complex sustainable systems, circular economy and big data. I traveled extensively in Africa, Europe and Asia and have published on subjects as diverse as bio-energy closing cycles for feedstock biomass and sustainability assessment tools. I am passionate about solving problems by designing processes that address issues where the three pillars of sustainability (environmental, social and economic) are at stake, especially when these issues are related to community resilience, sustainable living and citizen’s empowerment. I also hold multiple degrees including: a Bachelor's degree in socio-economic management, a Master’s degree in environmental engineering, and a Master’s degree of Rudology (waste sciences). I primarily use R, Python and Neltlogo.

I have worked with the following Organizations
